Dr Ritesh Dawra has a cumulative experience of more than 20 years in his field including extensive orthopaedic experience across Australia and overseas. He places emphasis on providing high-quality and effective services for every patient. He is committed to utilising his skills and knowledge to improve individual patient outcomes through personalised care.
Dr Ritesh Dawra maintains a strong focus on teaching and mentorship through the involvement of trainees and junior doctors at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
Dr Ritesh Dawra gained his specialist Orthopaedic training and fellowship in joint arthroplasty in India, before working in the UK and then moving to Australia. He completed speciality orthopaedics training in Queensland and has worked at the major tertiary care hospitals in Brisbane including the Princess Alexandra Hospital, the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, the Prince Charles Hospital and the Queensland Children's Hospital.
Dr Ritesh Dawra is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
